Day 1 |
Arrive Delhi.Drive down to Bharatpur [approx. 4.5 hrs] stay overnight at hotel.
At Bharatpur or Keoladeo National Park 3 days are spent on birding on foot and personal cycle rickshaw. Enjoyable boat rides take birdwatchers close to
water birds and heronries. On this bird trip on can check list more than 150 bird species. Birds that could be spotted are Jacanas, Blue throat, Baillon’s crake, Ruddy-breasted and Brown Crake, Shrikes, Black Bittern, Common Grey Hornbill, Thrushes, Clamorous Reed warbler and Yellow-browed Warbler, Munias, Larks and numerous duck species including migrants. Bharatpur is World Heritage Site having the finest wetlands on Earth.

Bharatpur
Birding on foot and cycle rickshaws with an expert guide.

Day 3 |
Day bird watching at Bund Baretha, late afternoon drive to Agra [approx. 1½hrs]
Morning excursion at Bund Baretha yields exciting bird species storks, pelicans, larks, francolins and other waterfowls. At Agra visit Fatehpur
Sikri en route. Overnight stay at Agra hotel.

Day 4 |
Drive to National Chambal Sanctuary [1.5 hr drive]
Enjoy river cruise for 4 hrs birding. Watch Indian skimmer, Black bellied Terns, Sarus and Demoiselle Crane, Pratincoles,
Great thick-Knee, Black-winged Stilt and large flocks of migratory
water birds. Spot eight species of Turtles, Gavials, river dolphins and Crocodiles.Drive back to Agra for Taj watching after lunch. Drive to Delhi overnight hotel.

Drive to Sat Tal 6 hours spend day bird watching here.
Discover Himalayan species as Lammergeyers, Himalayan Griffons, Blue-winged Minlas, Fork tails, Woodpeckers,Niltava, Khalij Pheasant, and thrushes. Red-breasted Accentor, Chestnut-headed Tesia, Barbets, Rufous-chinned laughing Thrush, Black Bulbul and Dark-throated Thrush.

Birding at Sat Tal
checklist Yellow nape, Piculets, Parakeets, Doves, Grey Bush chat and Russet Sparrow. Sight Indian, Oriental, Large-hawk and Eurasian Cuckoo. Sight Grey Tree pie, Maroon
Orioles, Large Cuckoo Shrike, Rufous-naped, Black-throated &
Yellow - browed tits including of Black-lored and Green-backed.

Morning drive up to Pangot
Through well forested area via Snow View point. See Oak forests of pine tress, cedar and
rhododendron bushes. Reach at lunch and go birding afterwards to sight lodge residents and visitors - Nuthatches and Bar-tailed Tree creeper. Study species of Woodpeckers In neighboring fields watch Dark-throated Thrush and Striated Prinia. Watch Flycatchers prancing around trees look for Leaf Warblers.Overnight lodge

Apr – Spend two days bird watching at Pangot - Cheena Peak and Kilbury [6500-7500 feet].
An easy walk fetches numerous Himalayan avi-fauna amongst perennial and seasonal creeks. The through diverse flora one may encounter Leopards, Himalayan Palm Civets, Yellow-throated Martin, Gorals, Sambhar deer and Barking Deer.
Another day at Pangot and the surrounding areas and visit to Pangot villages - Baggar and Gughu Khan. See more birds as Crested Serpent and Mountain Hawk Eagles. See Red-flanked
Blue tails. Blue-capped Redstarts and verities of Laughing Thrushes, Black-throated and Altai Accentors, Whiskered Yuhina and Upland Pipit.

Drive to Corbett Tiger Reserve [approx. 3-4 hors with stops for bird watching]
Take a drive in buffer. Morning walk to Kumeria and Garjia temple to see rare birds - Wall creeper and Brown Dipper. Post lunch jeep safari to Jhirna Range Forest for 4 hrs. Watch Black and Brown-headed Bulbul, Brown Fish Owls, Little Yellow-bellied and White-browed Fantail, Crested Laughing Thrushes, Black-winged Cuckoo Shrike, Parakeets and Minivets.

Visit Corbett Dhikala range
Dense Sal
forests and afternoon excursion to the
grasslands. Mammal sightings possible - Tigers, Indian Elephant, Hog, Sambhar, Spotted and Barking Deer. Also Jackals, Boar, Civets, Common Mongoose, Rhesus Macaques and Hanuman Langur. The lower region of Ramganga River offer lots of riverine species as River Lapwing and Kingfishers. A and around The Lodge watch for Nightjars, Jungle and Spotted owlets, Grass Owl, White-tailed Stonechat, Red Jungle fowl, Sunbirds and Changeable Hawk Eagle.

Corbett NP
Elephant ride (if available) to best
birding spot - Sambhar Road and Khinanauli before breakfast. Expect - Great Hornbill, Puff-throated Babbler, Maroon Oriole and Pallas’s Fish Eagle. Spend rest of the morning at water holes before driving down to Hotel later at noon.

Bordering Ram Ganga river.
